Naiya Jackson

Naiya Jackson is a first-year Ph.D. student in Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She earned a B.S. in Economics from Winston-Salem State University (2023) and an M.S. in Applied Data Science and Analytics from Howard University (2025). Her research focuses on racial equity in leadership and data-driven policymaking, with a particular interest in hiring and advancement disparities within professional sports organizations. Outside of academia, she enjoys traveling, event planning, and all the joys of being a new aunt!
